massed produced products can have issues with build quality as it seems you are experiencing.
so, either return this 3rd one and go to another att store that may have a different batch of units, or simply return the phone as it has failed your expectations.
Perhaps writing a letter to htc and expressing your experience with their products may help them in the future with their product assembly lines.
coming on a website that is not official to htc and asking users "what is going on" will not merit much fruit i am afraid...
if you are that upset and let down (not me as the phone has exceeded my expectations), speak loudly with your money. Walk away and pick up another phone with another manufacturer.
I have had the Evo 4g, Evo 3d, 2 Evo 4g LTE.
I was one of the customers who had to wait on my pre ordered HTC Evo 4g LTE because of Apple. I know how this stuff works. I have already sent HTC a message but they will not fix my phone tomorrow. I like this phone and HTC too much to give up on it. I was simply hoping for a simple solution.
