More than Android, IMNSHO.

Moody, it would appear the roles have reversed. Now you're having problems while everything works fine for me.
Poetic justice! Besides, I'm not too proud to ask for help when I need it!'s working now. I took a break from it (had to go outside to feed the peacocks anyway) that lasted several hours. Then I decided to reset the Chromebook back to its original condition. I started over. I'm now installing Kubuntu on it--via Ubuntu and Synaptic. (And I STILL think Ubuntu pales in comparison to Kubuntu.)

Except, I would still like the option to boot ChromeOS. If I re-enable OS Verification, it wipes everything, including Linux. None of the scripts meant go restore ChromeOS as the default work. It always boots into Ubuntu.
I'm not that far along yet. Let me get Kubuntu running and then we'll see what happens if I want to boot ChromeOS--which I really can't see WANTING to do, but you never know.
