it nothing we can help to be honest, in this day and age everything is automated. there is a 14 day return window that generates the price match and its all software side.
there has to be some sort of structure of when and when not to price match or else for the life of the device we would be getting money back as the price gradually drops...
sorry you were only 5 days out though, i know it sucks just feeling that close.
