I am also getting the same issue, have notifications set at NONE but have to do that for every single calendar entry. On another note I cant even get my calendar to sync so have to manually enter all appointments on my phone then do the same with the laptop despite having sync checked for the calendar that I am using. Never had this issue before. Really frustrating as I rely on my calendar so much
