That is true the screen is difficult to see in the sunlight. I had the Moto Droid and could adjust the brightness on it when I went outside, but really this is not that big of a deal for me. The phone is amazing and I don't see myself changing because of the screen visibility in bright sunlight. Good luck on your decision.
