Google has removed moving apps to sdcard from all android as of 4.1. You can still put all other media on sd. So if youre looking to install apps to sd you would need 4.0 or earlier, major manufacturers aren't going to be an option.
I don't care about moving apps to it, but you can't even store pictures that you take with the camera on it. It appears that Google basically just tossed the Nexus 7 skin/OS on it without doing anything else. Because you can write to the SD card if you're rooted and make some minor changes at the system level. But I don't want to do that. Just isn't my thing.
