The case is designed in France but made in vietnam. Batterie life seems better for me as I kepted the phone in my pocket before with only the screen protector on so I guess the buttons got bumpted every now and then, have taken the protector off now and what a difference crystal sharp screen and even more responsive. Cannot see any downsides yet but will keep you informed if I do.I found some discount codes on the net, I do'nt know if the work outside of France but they worked for me.("kadeos.fr" for 10 percent off the price )("leguide" for 5 euros off the order)Just one last thing I have no shares in this Company
