i ASSume the device was working properly prior? It was indeed. It's only been since the operating system update that I've had the problem.
I've managed to solve the keyboard issue, I was about to delete the thread...for some reason known only to my mobile, Sense had been deactivated.
I'm still having the issue with push notifications and I'm desperately trying to avoid the hard reboot.
