I noticed the same thing satinkzo, it lasted a LONG time after hitting 5%. I'm sure that after a complete kill tonight it'll be just fine. The battery tender just needs to learn where the upper and lower limits of the battery are.

very interesting. as i have this problem on my windows 7 laptop. it was giving me replace battery now icon and the battery meter would drop rapidly. i prevented it from shutting down and the battery ran for 1hr 45 minutes on 3% percent. theres still no fix for my win7 machine so thats not good.i wonder if this is the similar problem going on with the phones.
