the samsung instinct had this issue with the battery indicator as well in the beginning... it would jump from 100% to 80%, totally bypassing everything in between.
they fixed it during one of their updates. i'm assuming they're using the same technology and that they'll fix it as well. nonetheless, how's the total battery time (versus the displayed)?
