i don't think there is a problem with the battery. its a software thats showing you your battery meter. if you started the phone at 50% and used it until it was down to 35% then charged it the software thinks that the size of your battery is only 75% of the real size until you drain it all the way down and then charge it. do that several times over the next few days instead of trying to keep it charged and it should being to display correctish battery info.

this is just an educated guess. since 5% keeps working for over an hour that means its prolly displaying the battery incorrectly because the battery has never been that drained before in the phone w/ the software monitoring it.
