As far as creating a folder structure on the internal storage, I've finally found out what's going on. You can definitely create a master folder with a subfolder structure like I was going for. What I found out though is that the HTC Photo App does not "refresh" it's view of the system, so it just takes a quick nudge. What I've done is create a Photos folder on the internal storage drive while connected to my laptop and moved some photos in there. I then created a subfolder with pictures, unmounted the phone and it was showing the subfolder structure as hgoldner mentioned. Problem was that whenever I tried doing anything from Astro things never seemed to work. Well it appears that you need to simply connect the Inc to your pc in drive mode for the changes to update to the Photo App. Connect, wait, disconnect, and everything is now organized as you want. I simple refresh option in the app would be ideal, but this is easy enough, so it looks like I can now store all my pics there which frees up my sd card for mp3's and movies.

This is not working for me. I've tried several times. The folder I created, with pictures in it, on internal storage does not show up in the albums view or "phone storage".
