The *only* time I drop calls ov VZW (and I've had them all, BTW) is when on a mobile to mobile with an AT&T customer or (to a much lesser extent) a T-Mobile customer.

I've only dropped due to the following reason:
1. ATT/TMo customers.
2. Phone died.
3. Went down to the first level of my campus (the older parts of it is built out of concrete and I'm sure it could withstand against several bunker buster bombs).
