Yes , the Magic will eventually get 2.0 {Éclair} & I'm not sure if it will get Multi-touch for sure ,
according to the 2.0 Highlights multitouch will be included in the Keyboard and we have already seen it In the app "Picsay" with it's pinch & Zoom.
Only time will fully tell and hopefully Google will clear this up , Our Magic's are hardware wise capable it's just up to Google to allow it within the Android OS now {2.0}!
