As far as I know (and that means as it means, as far as I have seen, read, heard etc), Obama is not pushing to pass laws based on his religious belief. If he is Christian he isn't saying the U.S Constitution should be based on the Bible, or that American was founded as a Christian nation, or he isn't trying to pass laws to prevent women from making their own choice as to have an abortion or not just because his religion says its wrong. If he is Muslim, I don't see him trying to pass laws that women have to always have a male family member escorting them in the streets, or women having to wear a burqa.
As such, I don't care what religion Obama follows as long as he doesn't try to make laws based on his religious beliefs. However, I am against Sarah Palin because I believe she will try to push laws based on her religious beliefs and I do not support that.

And the health care bill will also support many people who do pay taxes. So it would seem like the health care bill serve those who do and don't pay taxes, just like...social security, med*****, public roads, the military, the police and fire department.

Hmm very good find. The bill is certainly far from perfect. It is indeed an unfortunate product of our rather befuddled political system. But, I didn't claim it was perfect or even good. Just said it wasn't so evily (not a word, I know. Sorry) socialist.
