Creative, but didn't work. The battery needs to be in.

By the way, it never even gets to the 2nd screen that's white with the HTC logo and Quietly Brilliant. It does the short vibrate, then that first white screen that says HTC Incredible loads and then it immediately shuts down and 2 seconds later repeats....unless I pop out the battery to stop it which I have finally done.
