Exactly! this should not be occurring, when you buy a car you buy keeping in mind what purposes it is for and how it will suit around you, when you buy it you buy it for what it
is, this means what it is is what you expect it to
continue being after you purchase it, you don't buy a car having in mind what is going to break so you can plan on how to fix it. The same as when you buy a plane ticket you don't buy planing ahead the survival procedures you will execute when it has crashed into the ocean, you buy planing and expecting for what you paid for, which is to get to the destination in one piece. If I spend my well earned money on buying a phone with a headphone jack than that and
only that is what I have paid for and what I expect to get, therefore anything other than that a working headphone jack is
NOT what I have paid for and is
NOT what I have bought. Now as far as I am concerned, selling something that does not do what you have claimed of it is called false advertisement and it is wrong and illegal, sure every now and then it is expected for a small percentage to fail, but this is no small percentage and it should not be happening near as much as it is.
