I'm running leaked LiquidE_0.014f.01_EMEA_GEN1 stock and am satisfied with the performance. Other than haptic feedback that won't turn off in a few cases I haven't noticed anything odd. Lots of extra junk Acer installed by default since 1.6, but I just kill those services after every bootup and never load them.
