Dear Ninad

I am using UB-A75-v1. Works nicely.....

No problems faced yet.

However, I deadly in search of following from Original MMX

1. Startup sound ( I like most)
2. Theme Manager (Specially Gentleman Theme)

If you could provide it will much appreciated.

Special Thanks to
GTA -- For the Gr8 Find < -- really great-full ,
Rudra Teja -- For first finding the base chinese ROM

Current Status :

V3 Uploaded ...
Still in beta , [ New-bies stay away ]

New Features :
  1. Over-clocked to 800Mhz ( Use SetCpu ,it will note the Max freq . )

    Guys ,
Its Over-clocked ... you are going to get a bit of Low Battery life ...
its called the use of common sense ....
I have made changes to add battery as much as possible .... but hey !
ur processor does not support change of Governor ...
    and/or Frequencies ...

  2. Amazing new Boot-animation and Boot sound
you guys gonna love it ! I can bet on it
Nexus Animation (ICS)+ Custom Sound !
  3. Better compiled than Mmx one
  4. Great Framework !
  5. Based on Gionee ROM ,
  6. Edited Scatter file for 2Mb storage
  7. Indian and US APNs added
  8. File manager not removed on a very popular request
  9. Kept the Gionee Launcher + gingerbread also added .
  10. Google services added like , sync etc ..
  11. Google Play shop added
  12. There (Gionee's) proprietary store removed

Awesome Features From UB-A75-1:

[ Also included in UB-A75-2 ]
  1. Rooted
  2. Most Bugs fixed , no need for any program execution
  3. Shell scripts support added
  4. Full bash
  5. 'sysrw' , 'sysro' , 'many scripts 'added
  6. de-odexed all the apks --->I was strictly against it as it increases the boot timings but many devs convinced me
  7. This ROM is compatible with All the future offerings !
  8. Gtalk with Video/Voice calling added
  9. Ice Cream Sandwich Animations added
  10. Gingerbread fonts replaced by Ice Cream Sandwich fonts
  11. Ice Cream Sandwich Keyboard added
  12. Scroll Glow added
  13. MIUI Music App
  14. Battery icon changed to more informative thing !
  15. over scroll color changed
  16. S99 Supercharger script Note : Activated after you install BusyBox ...

i have done the balanced 1 configuration of Supercharger !
If you guys need anything , Just use the script to activate
No need of any script manager ! .
a script in data/99SuperCharger.sh .. runs at start ( I have configured so !! ) so even if u change it works

  17. Host files added -- NOW NO ADS IN ANY APP U USE
  18. Build.prop tweaks for better battery and performance added
  19. NO BUSYBOX added , i cannot install it by default, caz the way i am making the ROM is difficult
  20. Build.prop tweaks for
    • Force launcher into memory
    • Render UI through GPU instead of CPU
    • Time between wifi scans is set to 300 sec
    • Allow power collapse tweak
    • Cpu is set to sleep when not used ! but registry values preserved
      New*
    • Few Tweaks to bring the Stock MMx experience than Gionee one .

If u feel i need to make changes ( if any ) in credits and/or any other stuff , plz PM me

Installation :
Download :
  1. Flash the Files as usual
  2. Manually install Busybox

Just 125 Mb Download ...
Includes All files and Flash tool .

Link : UB-A75-2_v3

Note : this is in Beta still ...

Guys, Guess what ,
I have already Planned about UB-A75-3

Dear ninad,

As per your sugession i again flashed and using UB-A75-1, I am eagerly waiting for UB-A75-3 with CMW and ICS . So much stuff is going on for Micromax A75, like CMW and other things. With out your approval to go and do, I cannot do.

I think your exams are over. Now, you have time to do the miracles.

Expecting soon.

Dear ninad,
I think you are free now, Jet mod3 and ub-a75-2 & ub-a75-1

Ub-a75-1 is first of its kind for mmx a75

what i felt after ub-a75-2 is that it is consuming less internal memory there by phone is super fast. You have written on this you are planning massive ub-a75-3 on or after 10th may,i.e, after your exams, now this is 16th may. We are expecting more.

in jet mode 3.0.3 also ext2 partition is working but Link2sd is not mounting the extended partition while booting, we have quick boot all the time.

you are silent from some time i am watching, just been saying thanks to all.

Please, do something, you can do wonders;
I also request you to see the following thread, we can try on that or not, please reply.

IS GPS working Fine in this rom
Any problem being faced till now?

hi Ninad...

hope you are well and good.

Please...for God's sake give us a progress report about UB-3!!!

Your exam ended on May 12th right?? its June 17th now.

I know you are preping for a technical career.....so you might be busy till you get the admission process over.

But plzzzz......dont just come online to check "whats new" in the forums. Give us some sort of clue. Even though you might not be actually coming up with anything, since the "ANDROID FOLDER IN YOUR COMPUTER WAS accidently DELETED BY YOU" You could tell all of us wether there is any hope.....wrather then just ignoring PMs by all of us.

Take care buddy....hope the NIITM works out for you.

Thanks for the well wishes ! ..
to start with , i wasnt actually ignoring any PMs ! just that i was speech less !!
to answer the queries as even i do not know anything about when i may complete the projects ...

It is not like, caz the entre Android thing from my PC was destroyed , Everything is gone . Everything still exists in my Brain !!

Also , as far as Ub3 is concerned ,
Sure thing I am trying my best to take time and start up the development,
but You know,
I have multiple simultaneous works to work with too !
Really cannot help it

I guess so....but I guess I am a tad bit disappointed with this

You released the UB1 Rom on February 28th!!! At the same OP you told us that you were already working on UB3! Its been 4 months now

So we have been anxiously waiting.....only to find out this delay has no end

Well, anyways.....hope you get some free time soon.

Hello once again Ninad

I have used both of your roms UB1 and UB2. Both have not issues regarding GPS at all.

1 thing particularly I want to point out in UB 2 is with the lock screen. Something, I dont know what, is written just below the date in chinease. Its irritating. Secondly all the applications that I install from apk files are shown in the menu but they are not shown in alphabatical order, they are shown by installation order (1st installed shown first and then second and so on). I am not complaining but I am just not so used to it. It would be better, if possible, please in your UB3 rom these two things are corrected.
By the way, your both roms are great, I love them both. UB2 is much better than the UB1 but kills a little more battery. But, for this performance, I dont mind it at all. PLEASE KEEP UP YOUR GOOD WORK. YOU ARE DOING EXTREMELY EXCELLENT JOB. GOD BLESS YOU.

no there is no chance of bricking the device if u use mmx scatter file
the only thing which bricks the device is gionee scatter file
I have tested it for 3 times
if u use ub 2 with mmx scatter file then ur device will not brick
b4 u proceed further delete all the gionee files from ur pc

Special Thanks to
GTA -- For the Gr8 Find < -- really great-full ,
Rudra Teja -- For first finding the base chinese ROM

Current Status :

V3 Uploaded ...
Still in beta , [ New-bies stay away ]

New Features :
  1. Over-clocked to 800Mhz ( Use SetCpu ,it will note the Max freq . )

    Guys ,
Its Over-clocked ... you are going to get a bit of Low Battery life ...
its called the use of common sense ....
I have made changes to add battery as much as possible .... but hey !
ur processor does not support change of Governor ...
    and/or Frequencies ...

  2. Amazing new Boot-animation and Boot sound
you guys gonna love it ! I can bet on it
Nexus Animation (ICS)+ Custom Sound !
  3. Better compiled than Mmx one
  4. Great Framework !
  5. Based on Gionee ROM ,
  6. Edited Scatter file for 2Mb storage
  7. Indian and US APNs added
  8. File manager not removed on a very popular request
  9. Kept the Gionee Launcher + gingerbread also added .
  10. Google services added like , sync etc ..
  11. Google Play shop added
  12. There (Gionee's) proprietary store removed

Awesome Features From UB-A75-1:

[ Also included in UB-A75-2 ]
  1. Rooted
  2. Most Bugs fixed , no need for any program execution
  3. Shell scripts support added
  4. Full bash
  5. 'sysrw' , 'sysro' , 'many scripts 'added
  6. de-odexed all the apks --->I was strictly against it as it increases the boot timings but many devs convinced me
  7. This ROM is compatible with All the future offerings !
  8. Gtalk with Video/Voice calling added
  9. Ice Cream Sandwich Animations added
  10. Gingerbread fonts replaced by Ice Cream Sandwich fonts
  11. Ice Cream Sandwich Keyboard added
  12. Scroll Glow added
  13. MIUI Music App
  14. Battery icon changed to more informative thing !
  15. over scroll color changed
  16. S99 Supercharger script Note : Activated after you install BusyBox ...

i have done the balanced 1 configuration of Supercharger !
If you guys need anything , Just use the script to activate
No need of any script manager ! .
a script in data/99SuperCharger.sh .. runs at start ( I have configured so !! ) so even if u change it works

  17. Host files added -- NOW NO ADS IN ANY APP U USE
  18. Build.prop tweaks for better battery and performance added
  19. NO BUSYBOX added , i cannot install it by default, caz the way i am making the ROM is difficult
  20. Build.prop tweaks for
    • Force launcher into memory
    • Render UI through GPU instead of CPU
    • Time between wifi scans is set to 300 sec
    • Allow power collapse tweak
    • Cpu is set to sleep when not used ! but registry values preserved
      New*
    • Few Tweaks to bring the Stock MMx experience than Gionee one .

If u feel i need to make changes ( if any ) in credits and/or any other stuff , plz PM me

Installation :
Download :
  1. Flash the Files as usual
  2. Manually install Busybox

Just 125 Mb Download ...
Includes All files and Flash tool .

First of , sorry for that but,

It would be more helpful if you mention How exactly you termed your device to be bricked ... and what steps did u try a little different stuff !
so that the community can work on the same

P.S.: If it has caused any loss , It does say in disclaimer bricking a device is none but your responsibility itself .
