Use it with UB-1.
Don't test it with any gionee ROM as it may not work

lol.....seems like newbie to android
btw androidnewbie the one I ported is 5.0.2.8 and one of A85 is 5.0.2.7.
If I would have done copy/paste then these people would have hardbricked their A75

+1 for the non copy paste stuff ...
just it needs a correction ...

it should have been soft brick (not hard one )
! A75 can recover even from a hardback though

Nope it may hardbrick.
Recovery=kernel + ramdisk and I m sure, with 1Ghz kernel and that too dual core, A75 will die in one instant.
Even SP Flash tool wont save it.

Do you want a demo?
@all
Anyone coming for the demo?

Anyone coming for the demo?

the phone wont boot (hence no way hard brick) !

... as A85 its Tegra and A75 its mediatek !
101% different ways to handle processor
it ins't a bulb like mechanism like give more potential difference and boom the bulb is gone

+ even if we mod the kernel (after getting the source code) for higher speeds, it does bootup .. [ I remember in the kernels for Xperia X10, we have kernels by which you can raze the bar to 1.5 !! but phone shuts up at around 1.2 !! factory = 1 ]
this may damage the chip !!

+ also changing kernel is not a big deal You know it !!

But definitely this one is not a copy paste of A85
That comment was epic ,BTW

@kumar just reflash all the original files or just system.img and recovery.img
I also did something in cwm and my phone got bricked
even charging icon doesn't appear after plugin in the charger but reflashing solved the problem

I checked!
partition map is correct
Can anyone do this?
What u have to do is wipe dalvik cache and then select report error and it will save the log to clockworkmod folder.
Just give that to me, I want to check which partition it wipes lol..

Anyone have any objection?
If no then I will ask mods to lock this

Please don't do that . As my mobile is in service center, i can't post the log file. I didn't even tried recovery.

Some one please do it. What happen to all other active members like kumar, saivignesh, rahul, gopal etc,....?

It would be great if u come online
However connect ur phone to PC(Provided that you have ADB and SDK setup-ed)
Then start ddms from android-sdk/tools and then see if your phone shows up and if it does then take logcat from Device tab and give it to me

Easier method-
When it gets stuck then remove battery and reboot to recovery again and then give me log

EDIT: Fixing permissions take time
Wait for 4-5 minutes

Thanks!
In this recovery I had purposefully removed the sd-ext support that's why the errors pop after recovery starts.
90% of things are going very fine

I am posting new boot.img with ext2 support soon then I will make a new recovery with sd-ext support!!

Well, a good news for u guys is that kernel of A75 supports touch inside recovery and has a touch driver included in the kernel.
So in future I may build a Touch recovery too also we won't be facing problem in touch in CM9 port
