[MOD] Solving the Play Store problems !
Just few weeks back someone asked me for this but then i refrained from posting on the forums !
Though your device is compatible with the app,
there are 2 restrictions :
Country restrictions
Device restrictions
Remove Country Restrictions :
Earlier this was easy, just install a app from a market (do not remember the exact name ) this will make ur country as USA or anything you want !
But seems that as Google updated to Play Store this option has been patched
This is the reason why you guys experience the incompatibility of apps from the Play store !!
The XDA Senior Member Deeco7 has found a solution ...
Its a simple replacement to the market !
Just that you will have to see this forum page for (suppose your market gets updated)
Or simply freeze market updater app from Titanium Backup ...
your market will not get updated now !!
Just i remembered that i wrote back to some one !
here it is
This will change your device name to Galaxy Nexus S
take any build.prop editor (from Playstore)
make the following changes :
Code:
ro.product.model=Nexus S
ro.product.brand=samsung
ro.product.manufacturer=samsung
ro.build.fingerprint=google/soju/crespo:2.3.4/GRJ22/121341:user/release-keys
ro.build.description=soju-user 2.3.4 GRJ22 121341 release-keys
If anything is missing ,
Add those !
Save edits,
Reboot twice ! if needed,
And remember, any mistake you do in editing the build.prop you end up in committing a suicide for ur device (which can be woke up very easily ) so be carefull and Keep a backup of the same handy
I will tell how to recover from a faulty build.prop if you messup ...
So do not worry abt. it but be carefull ...
More over if u were sucessfull you will see ur device as "samsung Nexus s " in Settings >about device ...
ya do not forget to clear playstore data from Settings>applcations ...

try to do it correctly
renaming the product id doesnt solve the problem you should also change the fingerprints and description
I edited the build.prop using scrip manager
@ninad now I edited the bulid.prop to make my device as galaxy s2 all the apps are supported now

. when i rename my device it automatically resets to a75 after restart 
. waiting for a gud solution
