Hey Karan1987 - thanks for the root method!
Just to let you know, I've moved this to the root section for the A90.
If someone can confirm this as working, I can add a link to the root sticky

I doubt that the above method will work !! As most of the users wont have ADB and Media Tek Drivers installed ...
Here is a step by step sure shot guide
Enable USB debugging and attach the device to computer.
Download >>
1.
MTK Drivers
2.
Unlock Root : After Installing MTK drivers just install and run Unlock Root... It will ask istall drivers >> click yes.. It will try to root but will not be successful. This is just to install the ADB drivers.
3.
Root with Restore Bi4ary : Just open the zip.. Click RUM ME.bat.. Follow Instructions. REemember if it says LOOK AT YOUR SCREEN>> JUST SEE THE SCREEN IT SAYS
RESTORE .. CLICK RESTORE!
Enjoy Root.. Nothing from your phone will be lost !
HIT THANKS if I helped.

Hi,
The method worked for me. Yippee. My pixel is now rooted... time ot get rid of the bloatware. Only glitch is that my wallpaper reverted to the default after rooting. Also, the link for Unlock Root is dead. I downloaded it from
UnlockRoot ---- Simply root your Android devices .
Cheers.

I tried to root my A90S using Bi4ary. But during rooting it asks me for a data encryption password for data restore option. I have not put any password in my phone.
