We sold one of our Acclaims to a friend. well in the programming the voicemail number is still the old number. I looked all through the phone and can't find the voicemail settings. Anyone know where they are?

Not sure how to specifically fix this option but your best bet might be to just do a factory data reset.

Go to Settings > Privacy > Factory data reset

I would think you would want to do that anyways, considering your friend is taking your phone. That way all of your personal information is removed from the phone and your friend can have a fresh start on their new phone.

Voicemail usually is just calling your own phone number from your phone. So if your friend has your old phone and has activated his/her own number on it then from your description when he/she tried to dial into voicemail his/her call would instead dial your number. Is that what is happening?

Has the phone been deactivated on your account by you and has your friend had the phone activated with the carrier on their account yet? Kind of sounds like this hasn't happened yet but maybe it's just a fluke on the phone after a service transfer.
