For now you can't overclock it because no developer has made a custom ROM for the Ace with a modified OC kernel, but it is coming soon in the next update of VillainROM

As far as I know, the Ace CPU is overclocked as it is, at 800MHz instead of 600MHz in other devices with that same CPU.

900mhz would be nice

another performance factor to think about is the speed of our sd cards i got a 4 speed and it helps alot!

next 1 i get will be a 10.

That's a pretty common mistake my friend, the Ace CPU is a turbo version of the 600MHz one itself, but its not overclocked
And there's not even any major difference between 600 and 800MHz.
So i'm expecting that there will at least be a stable 1300MHz clock anyways (considering that Galaxy 3's 600MHz CPU could handle one )

And as for the downloading bigger games thing, i am assuming you mean play a bigger as in a game which takes more RAM, then yes, it will of course be helpful

Haha.. That depends on the kernel that nprussell is developing man.. It may just take it up to like 1000MHz or may be able to do more.. Cant say anything for sure now

Overclocking means increasing the clock speed of your CPU, eg. the Ace has a clock speed of 800MHz, but increasing it to 1000MHz will be overclocking it and For now you can't overclock it because no developer has made a custom ROM for the Ace with a modified OC kernel, but it is coming soon in the next update of VillainROM.
if your phone has a modified kernel, you can download 'droid overclock' app from market to overclock it.
P.S. You also need to be rooted to overclock

you cannot FIND your kernel on your phone, you have to extract the stock ROM, use GNU to modify it and then replace it with stock ROM- now you have a new ROM called a custom ROM because you have modified it to your liking, villain ROM is one such ROM, if you wanna try it out, go to VillainROM Forums - VillainROM Front Page
And yes it significantly increases performance but it also decreases battery life!
