Default Galaxy ace boot loop even on recovery mode

hi guys,

Im noob here and I need big help... My phone was bricked when messing with build.prop and Custom ROMs with ROM manager and was Jtagged using medusa at a service here... the phone was running with stock s5830xxkph 2.3.4 and the screen usually blinks when in wifi and on data, then problem persisted after a few weeks even not in wifi, not in auto rotate and not on data... so , I decide to flash a new Stock ROM in samfirmware in GB 2.3.6 with ODIN but after restart... my phone is stock in boot loop and does not go to recovery as boot loop persist on holding home+power but can go on DL mode and dampram.... Tried flashing alot of custom ROM in samfirmware but to no success... PLZ HELP...

If you are able to enter recovery mode, then do a factory reset, wipe cache partition and wipe dalvik cache.
Otherwise flash another stock firmware from sammobile.com, make sure its not a single tar file package, flash that using Odin.

I am not able to enter recovery mode as it continues on boot loop.
I have tried flashing stock ROMs with one package and with multiple files (CSC,PDA,PHONE,apBOOT) but still no success as phone is still stuck to boot loop.

What do you mean by a bootloop here? could you pls describe exactly what happens when you press and hold Home+Power button to enter recovery mode?

If i understand what you said, you can't enter recovery mode, you can enter download mode and flash through Odin but the new firmware does not boot, it goes into bootloop.

Normal Boot up process: Power on phone, SAMSUNG screen appears, Samsung blue bootanimation appears and then your Home screen appears. Now where is your phone stuck in this process??

Try flashing some other firmware through Odin, maybe from a different region or a different version. Odin is the last resort, if that doesn't works, you will have to go to the service center.

hi, few hours ago i applied default update to my basic samsung galaxy ace s5830, since then it's in a rebooting loop.

i tried to enter into recovery mode, it doesn't do that either, when i hold the power+home keys, instead it shows the android logo, shows some process progress bar ( something like when you are downloading and you can see the downloading on the green progress bar). after this progress is complete, then there is a small message (which says "success") in the bottom left corner and it goes back into reboot.

any suggestions to get into recovery mode (out of the box), i mean something like controlling the device through pc (i have unbuntu and win7)??

I'm sorry i am not able to understand the 'green progress bar' thing you described, so i can't tell what problem you might be going through.

Also what do you mean by the 'default' update? did you use Kies to update software or used OTA updates?

You are probably talking about the OTA(Over The Air) update, i am sorry i don't know much about it or how it installs the upgrade.

But i can tell you that if your phone is really stuck on the boot then you can either take it to the service center and they will reinstall a latest software on your phone or you can use Odin to flash a firmware on the phone yourself.

the android logo and success message i was talking about was for the SD card. it mounts SD card and says success for successful mounting.
how i know that? i tried without SD card and it said failed to mount SD card after the progress bar is complete.
still does not enter recovery mode though.

any hints??
