copilot message - error downloading file

Hi,
I have been trying to download “copilot” application, onto my new mobile phone, Acer e110 but ended up every time with the message received – “error downloading file”. Since my mobile phone does not have WIFI built in, I connected the phone to the pc and put “copilot_8.2.0.218.apk” file in root directory, & other time in newly created folder – “copilot” but both the times same message appeared and installation could not be done. I tried all known possible ways on several attempts but could not succeed. Is it because of small 2.8” screen of Acer e110 or low screen resolution? I am enclosing herewith screen pics for your perusal.
Please help.
