How do you transfer movies from the galaxy tab 2 to the external sd card?

You should be able to simply drag and drop the files from your PC.
Also, which version of the Tab 2 do you have so we can move this to the proper forum?

That would be the galaxy tab 2 7". I also attach it to my computer through usb and open the file manager and drag and drop
