Funtional or NOT? - DisplayPort Male to VGA Female Adapter

I'm planning to buy an Acer Iconia Tab a200. As it doesn't have any TV-out, so I was wondering if there is any way I could play my presentations on the projector via USB 2.0 port. For the same attempt I found an adapter in the following link and was wondering if I will be able to serve the purpose through it.

NOT.
The display port is not USB. It has 20 pins compared to USB 4 pin. DisplayPort - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
If you really need to play presentations on a projector then the A200 is probably not for you. Get a tab with HDMI out like the Acer A500.

You might have some success streaming the video over wi-fi with upnp/dlna but I doubt it as there are not many projectors that support dlna
