My first post in here so be gentle on me, please

I have bought Acer Iconia A200 - this is my first tablet and first android device ever. Great device, great price (only £230) and I was enjoying it for few days till I tried Skype. And as in title - wired headset or bluetooth one doesn't cut off internal mic. I was trying to use skype few times and was also trying to adjust volume etc. It shouldn't be a problem but unfortunately the mic is build in in back cover of the A200 and every hand move (even slight finger move) causing a very big noise - as big that the person on the other end can't hear anything.

My questions:
1. is there a way to disable internal mic in android ics. I was doing some googling but haven't found any answer.
2. Should headset cut off internal mic? It does on my and my partners mobiles.
