I was just reviewing that link, it it looks like those with the A501 aren't going to get ICS at all.

I think owners of the Moto Xoom with 3G are going through the same thing. The WiFi version has ICS but the 3G version is still in "Evaluation and Planning" for ICS (as of feb. 15).

That makes me wonder if there is some kind of issue between ICS and 3G?

Well, the Xoom is 3G/4G, and it's working on 4G phones so I can't see how there's a significant issue.

Could be a carrier issue. The update might allow people to freeze a carrier's app. Aren't the networked tablets usually sold through a carrier since they have 3/4G connections?

That may well be the case. As I understand it, the whole reason we have to deal with lack of admin access is due to the cell carriers' demands for absolute control over our minds, er, I mean devices.

Haha, so I have been topping off my tablet every day, because I would hate to have to wait another hour for a decent charge once this update hits my tab. Can't wait to have both my gadgets on ICS.
