Default Reading Google Books Offline

I just recently purchased a book from the Google Play store on my Acer Iconia A500 without any problems. But when I click to "Read Offline", the screen flashes and then nothing happens. It's not saving the book anywhere. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Default AW: Reading Google Books Offline

Open the app Google Play Book on your tablet and you'd find there your purchased book on the apps "bookshelf".
BTW, the book should be downloaded and saved on your tablet's storage.
