Hi jw about charging amps my usb port in my car puts out 1 amp will this hurt the phone if i plug it in there ?

It should not.

In simple terms

Volts are pushed
Amps are pulled

In other words Volts pushed out by your power supply (5 volts - 12 volts 112 volts) if you plug in a 5 volt artical into a 112 volt power supply it blows up your article

If you plug in a 2 Amp artical into a 5 Amp supply it will only draw 2 Amps.
