Hi

I'm new to android and I was trying different widget to see what they are.

So I believed that I have tried Acer Clock but I dont want it any more so I removed it.

However, the AcerClockWiget does restart every few minutes even after i stop it in settings-> applications-> running service. It's consuming a lot battery otherwise i wouldn't need to stop it.

Besides rooting my phone, any other way to disable this? it just keeps restarting.

If you do not want the widge to display just remove it like any other object/widget just hold your fingure on it until it vibrates and drag it to the waste bin ant the bottom of the screen.

This does not un-install it it just removes it from the screen.
