Hey all, i currently have a SE-X10 and i know for a fact that it has a built in compass, but the rest of the phone i have had nothing but problems with. i want to switch to a Liquid E i think, but i cant seem to find anywhere if it has a build in compass or not. everything i can find refers to digital compass apps. i dont want a compass based on GPS movment like the Iphone3G. i know for a fact the X10 uses a Magnetometer as a compas because you can download a metal detector app for it and it works great. I do alot of geocaching and wanted to make sure that the phone i go to has a compass built into it.

I have one, and downloaded the "Compass" application. I am sure there is a compass inside since the application gets confused by magnetic fields, which do not effect signal strength. It uses A-GPS to help set "true north" as opposed to magnetic north.
