Oh man....So I waited till the official 2.2 was released for the liquid E. Downloaded it, followed the instructions from the acer website and it didnt work. Tried 3-4 diffrerent fixes, ended up getting color screens, random boots, and not able to get back into 2.1 . I tried a backup, full hard reset and all. nothing works

Now, my sd card is empty, the only screen i can get to is Malez recovery, but I cant boot any zips from fixes ive seen.

Im on fido. wtf do I do!!! Need the phone... my older phone wont sync contacts off of google so I don't have any numbers :|
PLEASE is there a way to do a complete 100% reset to original firmware. I really want 2.2 but at this point I just need a working phone with my contacts from SIM and google sync. CRAP

Have you tried flashing a bin?

Flash a bin by Acer tools (slightly risky but I have flashed alot of bins and never ran into any problems). The Acer Tool can read your phone from MalezRecovery.


Find the .bin you want here (I'd recommend choosing the one specific for your region for warranty purposes but any region can be flashed onto your phone)- Acer Liquid & Liquid E ALL ROMs bin extract collection - Android @ MoDaCo

If anything goes wrong during the process, unplug and replug the device (I know the guide says not to) but this thread says to- [TIP] Dont try to restart phone during flash if it looses connection, or u will have a bricked liquid! [MOD PLEASE STICKY!] - Android @ MoDaCo
