Leaving FIDO - Would like to use phone on other networks.
Hello fellow Android fans,
I recently purchased an Acer Liquid E (2.2) from Fido as my contract was nearing its end date and I wanted to use my available Fido Dollars.
What can I do to "unlock" this phone? (I would like to use it on the Wind Mobile network)
If I switch the ROM to 4.002.14.EMEA.GEN1 will that get rid of the sim lock?
Should I leave the ROM as is and go through an unlocking service using IMIE?
