Default what a slap in the face for liquid owners
I can't believe that acer have re-released the liquid with android 2.1 as a new model, without giving liquid owners any indication of when they will get 2.1

nice one acer, you really know how to treat your customers.

What are you talking about? They confirmed the 2.1 update for Liquid owners.
An Acer employee confirmed it.

Yes, 2.1 is definitely going to be an update for early adopters. Rumours point to two months. March or June apparently.

This one's an early beta it's not new at all...
We'll get the final 2.1 soon.

The handset is a pre-release which i recieved in Sept which gradually went thru 4 Donut revisions. Current ROM is a 2.1 release version and i would expect the Liquid E would have about the same or prolly minor updating.

Jus got my liquid Ver 1.6.. not sure can upgrade software to 2.1. Anybody got ideas where can flash it ?

Go to modaco, they have everything you need there.

Acer Liquid - Liquid.MoDaCo.com - Android @ MoDaCo

Whether you want to flash to a bin or use one of the custom roms (good thing about this phone is strong developer support), all help needed would be somewhere in there.
