I have altered some files from a Sgs2 with BEATS audio and it now works for Samsung admire BeatsAudiob0314.zip Just flash thru CWM and enjoy.

i tried twice. cmm said successfully installed. just black screened after samsung boot screen. restored my back-up and thought i'd try here.

I was successful in flashing cwm, and I am booted into the OS successfully. I just wonder if I have to enable the setting somewhere or is it now default. I never listened to the headphones before flashing (doh!) but listening to them now sound pretty darn good. I would be really surprised if a setting would make them sound better than they do now but thought I would ask!

No, there is no app to "activate" beats audio. Use power amp for a greater experience.

I hate to hate. And I hate to burst your bubble, but...

has any one looked at the install script? what about the zip? This writes into the system/etc folder. As soon as you boot after this flash, that at least all goes away but looking at the install script it doesn't sign properties or anything...

Maybe a dev could look at it? Pretty sure this would require boot.img rebuild as well as some file installs with permissions set and /system mounted etc.

There would be no point to have the beats mod and dsp. The beats mod is nothing but audio presets for clarity in the music. Dsp manager allows you to control all the audio in the phone so having both installed kinda cancels out each other

I'm sorry. It turns out I was wrong. But it was never stated that you have to boot into recovery, then MOUNT SYSTEM, and then flash. But wow. It is worth the install if you do it right. Again, truly sorry

Nobody knows. I've been playing this through my car radio via the headphone plug and it sounds like crap. Anyone know if I can flash this and make it better?

I use mixzing music player with it. Its built in EQ allows you to adjust gain. Its amazing with my scullcandies.

Mixzing, has a bass preset also. I didnt like the UI of poweramp very much, plus you can get mixzing for free if you want ads, if you dont then its like 2 bucks.

Default Beat????
Ok I downloaded it, and flash it with cwm. I'm running monster 5, the flash says complete. but when i boot up my phone I see no beats icon or anything? did i do something wrong here?

It's not an app so there is no icon to be seen.

im using monster 4 n deleted dsp manager n using power amp so i realy dont know if it sounds good cuz of power amp or because of the beats lol
