Remember noobs download new clockWMbeta1and new CM7.2beta2 and follow op. Ima try it.i got two phones but one data starts and drops 3g. Irritating. But ima try the 1x data and see of cm7 does its magic . I can't wait for Over Clock but more so want all apks to work. Like gunbros and ish. That's it kudos devs love the magic

Hey while your testing can you try to watch HQ Videos on youtube? i always freeze (not buffer, freeze) when trying to watch an HQ Video. i can watch lQ but it loads slow. wut the

Yes HQ videos are working. And load rather fast also..
I have a question why do we keep google talk in the app list. If you accidently open it it will fail to authenticate and break your market everytime x.x. its either one big coincidence or that app doesnt like us. from what ive read google talk is no longer supported by google or something like that

I agree, there are several pages to search through, and we are pushing 700 posts. However, there is also a "Search Thread" option at the top where the problem can be found.
Debugging and bbq'ing. Got some useful info concerning the data issues. When I get home later tonight I'll start implementing the fixes. Still stumped on the camera issue. Think I've tracked it down to cm7's libcameraservice implementation and the exit library, but it looks like I'm going to have to do some actual coding to fix it. Stay tuned.

what page is the old cwm so i can download
Some random glitches. I had.
Autorotate breaks. The screen is horizonta when the phone is vertical.
sound. Comes from speakers although the head set is plugged 'n.
Typing lag.
with opera web browser the scrolling freezes for a few seconds every time.
2 signal bars at most.
Most of these only happen once. Might of just been an anomaly.

CWM-base recovery V5.0.2.7 (use it to update to 7.2)
The phone driver from Samsung (In case you don't have it)
CWM-base recovery V7.2 (Flash it from 5.0.2)
Android 2.3.7 (Beta 2) *this is the current version as of this post

There is a patch file called "gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip" this file contains important apps (such as the market and Setup wizard)
Every time I tried to install it it will not install, and I got it working using the flowing method (copying only the system folder from the ZIP file to the phone and overwrite the existing ones) ...to do that
1- Download Free App ES File explorer (Free Click Here To Download)
2- Enable Root access by going to its setting and activate the root access along with changing the home directory to "/" , also mount the files ... you could do the file copying (you will have to grant it superuser permission)
3-Copy the system folder (after extracting it) over the existing on on the phone
4- Reset the phone to recovery and flash the "gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip"

u forgot happy. also are any of those files the old cwm?
With my phone I was only able to install CWM-base recovery V5.0.2.7 with Odin, and than from there I uploaded the CWM-base recovery V7.2 to the SD card and installed it from the 5.0.2 recovery....
I tried to install it (7.2) using Odin, but that did not work for me.
Just thought that someone who codes cm7's would know... oh that's right it was a late April fool.

As for the 492 problem, when I had installed everything according to the instructions, I just let it sit there after the first boot and it just worked, however it seems this rom is more unstable than most think since we are all having different issues and even though I was stable for a while, it started acting up again. Req0 said he had some useful information while playing with one that had service so maybe soon we will see a more stable B3

Yea, @sacredbloodin', I can't get it to even install from google account using the laptop and trying to remotely start it that way on chrome... I may just push what I need and get the .apks from an alternate site...then adb push them or copy them and install with file explorer, like root explorer.. until beta3... maybe i will try fixing permissions with google play? hmm... because i can download fine through phone browser... weird stuff..but no worries... thats what testing is all about...

Yeah, I think I got fed up and tried reflashing CWM, then flashed B2, then the nTelos APN, mounted /system, and then gapps. After it booted and toggled airplane mode I let it sit there and came back to it and was finally able to get my account logged in, and everything was fine for a bit until I rebooted into recovery and saw that CWM was in the old large font and not the small font I remember. Not only that but now it is giving me some kind of cache error about not being able to read it or the log. Haven't been able to get it to work right since :/

Well I never got the market (play) to work right so I just been downloading what I need from other sources until we get another release to try... just strange how the alpha5 was working fine for me...then beta2 had this problem... I think req0 is right, just to include all the gapps in another beta... which he mentioned... I will just keep beta2 for now... I did try the cam again... and same results as others... video works fine... cam won't save the picture... but I'm sure he will have us something better...
Great work req0, look forward to your next beta... I think he is taking his time a little more to iron all the bugs out before publicly releasing back to us in the forums... seems like I keep seeing to many ungrateful bastards crying about this and this not working...myself... I am a workaround type of guy... i strongly believe there is always a plan b to get something done if plan a isn't working... and I have workarounds for both for now... downloading and manually installing my own .apk's from other sources and if I need a picture.. someone says instagram works... so there's the plan b for the cam working... or i just use my personal phone and send her the pic to her phone by mms! :P see...it all works!

for those whose google account is not working after flashing b2, just wait!!!!! for like 10 min. DONT TOUCH THE PHONE FOR 15-20 MIN AFTER FLASHING TO GET MARKET TO WORK. I say it like that because I too have flashed it several time to get the market to work but then I decided to leave it alone and see what happens and boom I get working market and account. I followed all the step in the OP
