Great piece of work bro, looks and runs great. Had the annoying yellow triangle but as I recall there is a zip somewhere around here to take care of that. But again beautiful work. Maybe more roms from the vitality could transfer over to the admire...

I put up a zip. If you have a back up of monster 5 you should be able to restore just the boot.img
Flashed it last night, and waited the necessary time between each step to assure I would not get a 492 error. I also have my own APN file I use to make sure I get MMS working on all roms for the nTelos network so I skipped the last step. Nevertheless, this is an amazing rom. With all due respect to aboat and the other devs, this has to be the best feeling rom I have used. I don't think its COMPLETELY themed to ICS, but its definitely good enough for me. Everything is smooth, looks great, and until I start opening my apps, its fast.

Thanks ppl. Glad you all dig it :-) I'm just glad I figured out the mpcs port. Again, thanks to kagebeast for the Guinea pig action :-D
It's not an ics theme by any means, it's my OA flavor that I overlay on most my roms. I just stuck a few ics apks in because, well, they look better than the stock.

Cheers.
Well i really wanted this rom so i had no choice lol
This is the first time I've got 492 error on playstore how do I fix
What I have been doing the last few days is reflash without wiping, then after flashing go in and wipe all caches but not data or anything. When you reboot, DONT TOUCH IT!! Let it sit for at least 20 mins. Then log into Google and let it sit another 20 mins, then go into Play Store and accept the terms but dont even search for anything for another 20 mins. After that, try updating an app. Usually Super User and Google Search always need updating.
Sometimes it doesnt work for me, so I go back and wipe everything three times and try again.
The error apparently appears when you don't let the dalvik cache build long enough before doing anything.
Good luck

You have to make sure it sits a while. I did this earlier today with my wifes Admire and performed each step at the 20 min mark, but it still didn't work so I went back in, wiped everything three times and then tried again, only this time I had the time to let it sit at each step for like 45 minutes. I finally just tried downloading an app and it worked fine.
If you have the time to let it sit for a long period, go for it. Grab a beer, make a sammich and play come Call of Duty or something and go back to it. Once it works fine, you won't be disappointed at this rom, its amazing
492 error can be solved by just flashing the rom again.
Im not too sure what causes it, but it coincides with the "can't mount /cache/recovery/...." error in CWM.
For me at least, a simple reflash solves the issue.
Hope that helps.
In regards to the picture frame widget, that is an android stock Gallery3D feature. If you install gallery3D, you'll get that function back.
Hopefully we can get some themers involved here. I like killcmd's themes because the problem I have with my phone is the screen is really hard to see when outdoors and not in the shadows. Darkish text on black background/menus is no bueno. This ROM has nice bright white text though.
By the way, do I need to run BusyBox Free and hit Install? I see that parts are pre-installed, but when I run that app it says 'Location of BusyBox could not be determined.'
runparts are preinstalled. I only put busybos installer on there so you can keep up to date with the latest runparts.
In all honesty, I don't really want themers messin with my ROM. If you want to do it yourself, thats cool (ie: uot kitchen or metamorph).
OK, thanks for the heads up. So then I can go ahead and select 'Install' inside that app? I will be using Titanium Backup, but have not installed it yet.
Also, I am am trying to install the Swype beta apk but it just says 'Application not installed' after I select the APK and hit next. Not sure why it will not install...
How do I make the list of applications scroll vertically instead of horizontally?
I will also figure out how to remove the CRT screen shutoff animation, startup animations, and shutdown animations...I'm a minimalist
I have not used UOT Kitchen or metamorph so I will have to check those out.
Ya I did that but no updates and I know the one I was using before had swipe functions and vertical scrolling in the app drawer
You need to upgrade to the pro version for those functions.

If you feel like upgrading your busybox, then yes you can.
App list vertical scroll is a paid feature unfortunately. =\
Download "Root uninstaller" and uninstall Swype from /system/. Then install swype Beta. That should do it.
Oh yeah that's what I want too. How did you fix error 492?
Reflash the rom, and people say to wait 5 mins for the cache to build, but I've never had to do that on a 492 error, just reflashed the rom and good to go.

Reflashed n let sit for bout hour n a half. My battery seems to be dropping by 1% every 10 min
Maybe one of the apps you have running is tearing up the battery in the background? I flashed it last night and had like 86% when I got done setting everything up and removing apps, didn't charge it last night and was using it all day, and that includes bluetooth transferring this rom to my wifes phone, and have been using it on and off since then and now its 8:45 and I'm down to 26%.
Are you using a task killer? At the time I was using a combo of Mobo Task Killer and Juice Defender and it seems to do ok, especially when you put the task killer on auto-kill at 80% of memory usage. I'm giving a new app a try since its an all-in-one, but not sure on performance of it yet :\
if you dont get the cache error log in your CWM then you wont get the 492 error, and to prevent the cache error log i wipe the things needed to wipe once then flash then reboot the CWM which gives me the cache error so then i wipe the things needed to wipe again and flash everything and reboot the CWM just to check and make sure you dont get the error thats it.

I noticed the correlation, too. I never understood why it happened but its good to see some information on it, lol. I used to just wipe everything, flash, all kinds of things and it turns out a reflash is all I needed lol

I guess I need to say this -- Whenever flashing a new ROM, your batterystats.bin file is being reset.
SO
If you are planning no sticking with a ROM, heres the steps to take:
Device(s): LG Connect, stock rooted zva ,...LG motion rooted,... samsung admire. OA 2.3.
