Question Root Ally for Dummies
I am completely illiterate when it comes to rooting. I have an LG Ally, is there anyway a dummy like me can root my phone using windows 7? Wanting to use wifi tether.

Software2Tech.com Android Root Apps: Updated Universal Androot (1.6.2) Beta Released and Available for Download.

That is the easiest way to root.

On a side not The Wifi Tether for root users dose not work with the ally. To use wifi tether you will have to download "Barnacle Wifi Tether".
