I must say all throughtout testing this rom it was stable and fast. I feel no need to flash the Turbo4 included in this thread because rom was hella fast. Overall i think its damn good and worth giving a shot. x)
Thank you and thank you for all the hard work you do for the community and your all the graphic work you do, but raptor would not look as good as it does without you. thanks.

Raptor has finally made my phone what LG should have delivered all along. I'm really grateful for being part of the crew that got to test it. Great job, Killertonez!

There seemed to be a market issue where nothing was downloading but it seemed to be a problem with google's servers and stuff and not Raptor. All seems to be working well with the market again.
Just wanted to post this in case anyone was having issues.

Yeah the animation is laggy and thats how it is. Now your likely in a boot loop. Reboot into recovery manually. Make sure your wiping data/cache/dalivk cache before flashing. Also if you have an ext partion on the sdcard from a perviou rom using apps2sd make sure you also wipe the ext partion before flashing.

idk it still runs slower than velocity .3+ the newer oc kernel made for velocity. i have no numbers to prove this but super metroid just is choppy as hell no matter what setting i use on this new rom so i went back... i really like his theme though. -edit i think it was a bad flash so disregard what i said

Will compare both speed and battery life numbers on Velocity vs. Raptor, will have some results by tomorrow. The opinion is both Velocity and Raptor will be the same since both ROM's are pushing the phone's max pretty much, we need more hardware power to cook up some killer stuff.

Okay so one HUGE disadvantage for me personality is no stock Clock app? I rely on the alarm clock everyday and its not there. Personally for me this becomes a pain in the butt, yes its a fixable problem but its something that should of stayed on there without any second thoughts. Using apps as alarm clock is not reliable because if your android decides it needs more memory in the middle of the night and kills the 3rd party alarm app, you are screwed.

Well i've been saying people should try it without Turbo4 aswell. Cause in the one time i used Turbo4 while testing the rom it did slow it down for me aswell. Thats why i recommend people try it without Turbo4 first.

Couldn't agree more. I need that alarm everyday. I think I'll wait for 0.2 specifically because of that (hopefully it's included!). Looks like a great Rom though!
I definitely like the looks of this ROM, love all the green on black! Much prefer the theming of this Raptor to Velocity. However, it just doesn't seem stable enough. I think it's a great first ROM! Just needs some more work still. Also, the IO File Manager script didn't work to remove it. Said it wasn't found in the usual places. Keep doing what you're doing! Also, if you could send me the vendor files you used to build the kernel, and possibly chat a bit with me, we might be able to get a froyo build here!

I WHOLE heartedly agree. The clock is a must for me. However this so Far is my biggest complaint. There are two more things that are just creature comforts for me that is missing. 1. No Weather widget.... I ride a Motorcycle almost everyday (Yamaha R1)... So I need to know the weather. 2. I have grown quite fond of Tridents Flash light App. That thing has come in handy SOOOO many times. Again those last 2 are creature comforts. Small gripes list. 1. When you first boot it has this Lil bitty ANDROID It just looks kinda lame. Next is the Boot animation is PAINFULLY SLOW!! I miss having Barnacle from the begining. Now These are all no Biggy thow.
Now for the good. WOW beautiful theme it really is fun and pleasing to look at. It was very well thought out. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Quick Boot app. Beautiful!!! I Love the OI file manager. This allows you to see your system files. BRILLIANT!!! I Love the option to choose between the ADW launcher and android home MOST EXCELLENT!!! It is Fast... No Noticible Difference from Velocity yet thow. No VZW splash is a nice touch All in all a WONDERFUL ROM.
Not to mention its Stable and this is the FIRST ATTEMPT!!! WOW!!!
I tell you what I am IMPRESSED. I can only imagine what Gen 3 of Raptor will be. I am positive it will be an Insane Contender. Looks like you have some competiton Trident.
GAME ON!!!!

Any way around this for the time being? I can't believe how fast this rom is. I definetly want to use it, but need the clock/alarm.
Whenever I connect to phone via barnacle, the phone reboots.
It is also rebooting when I plug the phone into the computer (boot loop).
Anyone else?
EDIT: This was observed after a Titanium restore. I reflashed the rom without Ti restore and phone/laptop connection and barnacle works. Bummer for me, but good for the rom.
