806 OC is working great for my device...is anyone having success with 864?
To Trident: First and foremost, I want to thank you (and all of the testers and other devs who made this version possible) for yet another amazing rom. When I got my Ally, I tinkered until I happened upon this forum and the rest is history. I've been waiting for this release and am pleased to report not one single problem. Trident, expect a donation by my next paycheck or two. Thank you for all of your hard work.
Thank you, Trident, for the countless hours you and your team put in to make my smart phone experience amazing. Who needs a F#%@!(^ iPhone! DROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOID!
Thank you,
JMAR
btw...I love the droid sound package. Plus quadrant scores put us ahead of the DROID ONE

Reason: Remove info that was irrelavent
I tried it just for the heck of it. Everything froze up, then rebooted and got stuck on the droid eye screen. I yanked the battery and all was well again.

Nope, I run 787. I can run 806 but it's a lot smoother at 787, 825 is when I get instant kp's.

you do realize that Droid line if for straight up stock running 2.1, right? I can hit over 1500 quadrant score all day long with my Droid running custom rom and OCed to 1.2 GHz.

Just had to poke at ya a bit
With the Ally's unfinished source built Froyo ROM we're hitting mid-upper 1300's in Quadrant at 787mhz, not far behind.

Oh, I can't argue, the Ally is a fine phone! Two of my sons each have it, which is why I keep up with the Ally forums as well as the Droid. Just having a little fun. And yes, there are some really good Devs working on this phone out there. really impressive.
mine can still only handle 748. if i go higher it freezes. i tried out 864 for fun and as soon as i lifted my finger from the slider in setcpu it kp'd.
Been running 806 with the every so often lockup. btw whats the difference between the phone locking up and a kp (finally ran into a few kp's trying to run 825)
The LG Ally was one of the first Android handsets from the Korean manufacturer to see a US release. The QWERTY slider came to Verizon in the spring of 2010 as a mid-range smartphone geared towards those looking for a solid media and messaging... Read More
