[THEME] Elegant Gingerbread
What happens when ElegantSteel and Gingerbread meet?
This theme is a mashup of the theme ElegantSteel by Jedipottsy and Gingerbread4Froyo by GRZLA. This theme is based off of Velocity 1.0 for Android 2.2.1 (FroYo) Both are needed to flash.

Minor change, custom wallpaper added on flash. Look out for 1.1 with notification bar fix, coming soon!

If you are running Velocity then go into "Terminal Emulator" then once it opens enter "su" if for the 1st time opening it will ask for root permissions and press "Allow" once that is done. type "velocity" then enter "1" then press enter then type "4" press enter then pick Stock Gingerbread ,GingerBlue ,GingerRed , GingerYellow

If enough people want it on 2.1, i will port it to previous velocity, or whatever. Just request. That goes fer all of ya!
Post your build, and i will port it for you.
The only reason I am hesitant to download this theme is the black-on-dark gray in the notifications menu. It just seems almost impossible to read. Could you make the text white/light gray? Does anyone else find this a problem? Also, the notifications on the top bar seem to be gray-on-gray (at least the USB one).
I don't mean to bash, just be constructive.

Uh oh, missed the deadline.lol. That's okay though, I'm sure people are patient and can wait a little longer. Nice work btw, I definately want to try this out when 1.1 is released, and would love to see it in velocity script.

Yeah, i know. I tried as hard as i could to fix it, i WAS able to push a small 1.01 update. fixed an icon and made the wallpaper flash by default. Will try again tomorrow. How would i go about getting it in velocity script?

You would prolly have to ask trident about how you could get it in there

Talk to Savoxis about puting it in the scripts.

^^What he said about breaking the reboot/recovery options. To fix that, pull Velocity's framework-res.apk, then port the theme into it.
For some reason I cant flash this. It says that it completes but its never there after the phone restarts. Yes I have Velocity and 2.2.1. I'm also using Amonra Recovery. Any ideas? =[

So.....
I put this in the velocity script, and No I didnt ask permission.
Your update package is screwed man, you need to:
Delete the framework-res folder in framework as it looks like its left over from devving
Rename the framework-res.zip to framework-res.apk as as it is named this does nothing but add unneeded files to the /system partition.
The one in the script works.
EDIT:
Default wallpapers are in Launcher2.apk you should put your wallpaper in there as default so people dont need to manually apply it

I love the theme, thank you. I'ts very sleek. But, as others have mentioned, its real hard to read notifications. I didn't try it outside, but inside was very difficult.
