Froyo root issue PLEASE HELP!
Hey forum! I'm currently on Lg Ally Stock Froyo 2.2 but I have an issue with getting root back
Steps I Took:
1. I Downloaded and installed ZVC ClockwordMod.zip(a rom that's has all stock apps to.allow the update to go through)
2.When I got on the rom I flashed the stock ally recovery so my update for froyo would go through
3.It updated me to Froyo 2.2 and a baseband update
Problem:
My root privlages(su) aren't working correctly. I try to flash a custom recovery and tell me "Error running privlaged commands". It also says that on Fix permission. Titanium backup does not work either and other apps that aquire root do not work too. I have tried using z4root and universal androot, those apps both failed Sometimes on some apps it ssays I have root privlages but they don't work when I try. Does anybody have a fix for this? It kind of irritates me that I left 2.1 for this.By the way, I don't not have a usb for my computer thatt works for this phone.
If anybody could help me out It would be very appreciated! Thanks :P
