KNOWN BUGS
ICS keyboard popups miscolored
Some apps have black on dark text in Status Bar (Un-fixable: These apps have hard coded font colors, and it is out of the theme's power to fix them if they dont use the system's colors)
No # on battery/Chare animation choppy (FIXED, thanks to gaetawoo!)
IF YOU FIND ANY BUGS, LET ME KNOW IN THE REPLIES SO I CAN FIX THEM!
*sidenote: A good ICS color is hex #31B1E1

Thanks to everyone who has helped me test so far. As of now, the theme is near completion, and i no longer require outside assistance. Be on the lookout for the full theme soon!

After 2 weeks of work, it's finally ready. Check out the first 4 posts for info. I rocommend this be coupled with GO Launcher EX and their Ice Cream sandwich theme for an even better experience!
Every time i try to do "sdcard-install" it says that there aren't any files in the velocity morphs folder.
all i have to do is put the zip in the velocity/morphs folder and it's good to go right?
after you install the theme, howdo you get back to the original velocity 1.2 theme since it's not a recovery flash but a velocitymorph, whatever that is.??
j2cool, i found a little bug in the theme. when the battery is charging, it reverts to my previous charging battery when the electrical bolt icon engages. not sure how that works unless you theme only replaces some of the framework-res images... because i had a battery icon from uot kitchen with 100 discharging and 100 charging icons. but if you replaced the file, it should take care of that... it doesn't ... so maybe the velocitymorph only takes care of components in the framework-res file instead of just replacing it like flashing would. just fyi. it would be great to have the typical ICS battery icon but with numbers in it to show what the level is.
hey just wondering how to get the dock the same as the screen shot for me it still has the default icons, maybe its cuz i have the 3 icon dock. anyways great theme

Not having the same issue with charging but do agree would like to see numbers in the battery icon.

All you have to do is use the scripts in the velocity toolkit.

I know exactly what happened with that. Velocity does not use an entire 100 charge battery, and UOT does. Velocity uses 20-odd charging icons. So when you flashed your UOT, it changed how the battery charges. So it did not theme the higher battery icons that your phone is now capable of using. Hope that answered your question!
No. That folder is for downloads off the scripts. YOU need a folder on the root of the SDCARD called VelocityMorph.
thanks, that worked. it actually only went like halfway through the first time before restarting, but i tried it again and everything's fine. great job on the theme.

Actually, that's the velocity 1.1 theme. You can find the 1.2 theme HERE. It was never publicly released for some odd reason. (read: i forgot to release it once 1.2 hit)

J2cool, of course you are exactly right, and when i looked at the ics theme res\drawable i saw the 29 charging icons. and it made perffect sense. so. is it possible for me to go into photoshop and edit each image on my own so that it would have a number and also that i could make 100 charging icons so it'll work correctly?
also, it looks like velocitymorph just replaces whatever images or files you have changed. is that correct? as opposed to flashing which completely replaces the entire frame-res file itself.
if i did edit the images, could i just put them in the velocitymorph file and reapply it?
in order to fix the battery thing without making more charging icons, i'll have to flash the stock vel1.2 framework file, and then apply the ics theme. but i'd rather make numbers.
anyways, what do you think?
update: when i open the pngs in photoshop they look strange. but i open them in paint and it looks fine. what do you use?

Yes, you can. You can just edit them, and save them as the same name, and put them in the morph. Yes the morphs only change what is changed. Thatxs why the FCs happen, JSYK. Go ahead and make new batteries if you'd like. Also, if they look good, i'd love to incorporate it into v2. Also, it looks wierd because the color mode is INDEXED rather than RGB. Hope i answered your question!

Use GO launcher EX or the like, and just use the 5 icon dock, and an ICS theme for that launcher to get the full dock experience.

Re: the indexed color mode, i thought that's why, but if i edit it like that and save it, will it save wierd? i tried changing the color mode but it still looked strange. and you can't open something in another color mode outright. that i know of.
my idea is to have the same battery icon but add some more steps in the graphics so its smoother and better represents the levels, and also add small white text to show the numeric level.
just want to know the best way to edit them in photoshop since it's the only best tool i have. but since it looks strange, it's not ideal. how can i edit them while they look correct?
