I Have an Lg Ally. I downloaded the rom manager, the clockwork mod recovery, and the velocity 1.1 rom and no matter what i attempt to do...it will not go into recovery mode, or flash. I've tried everything i can think of. when i do the reboot and hit the menu+talk+end i get the android guy and a ! . I've been googling and going through these forums like crazy. Any suggestions would be awesome.

After you have rooted your device using the gingerbreak rooting device. Use clockwork and scroll down to alternate recovery and choose AR recovery for lg ally. The reason your getting the ! Is that the recovery didnt install. It attempted but failed to write to device. Try using getitnowmarketing's method of installing the revoery.
Just make sure you take your time doing this or ull ruin your ally.
