Default First Attempt, Does this work?

So I've used Flash for a while now and would like to start developing mobile apps. I made a quick program where you can supposedly drag a string around on the screen. But I don't own an android (at least not yet) and would like to see if my app even works. Can anyone quickly test this out and let me know if it works, and if they notice any problems with it?

I'm not even positive on how to post the apk file, but I've seen a few people post a dropbox link, so I'm doing that:

Thanks for your time.

it works fine
it required adobe air (obviously)

but it's not that responsive, the movement is so smooth, but it's hard to be able to move the string

hope that helped

Awesome, thanks JiMMaR. The test wasn't so much the quality of the app, but whether it would actually install and run. I'm glad I'm exporting it out correctly. I had a friend test it out and he said it didn't work for him (I think it said invalid apk or something), so I was getting discouraged, but I'm starting to wonder what version of Android he's running. Anyway, thanks again. Time to start production on some apps.

SvEnjoyPro you can specify min android version in your manifest file. If you don't it will just use your target version (which is probably '8' or 2.2). You might want to specify a min version of '7' which is for 2.1. That should cover most 'modern' devices that can handle flash apps well enough.

Also, I haven't tried flash apps, but maybe the emulator can also run your flash app so you can do some base testing. It may be a little less responsive than a real life device, but should give you an idea of whether it can install and such.

I figured out what the issue was, I wasn't checking the box to specify Full Screen. Maybe this was an issue on his phone, Motorola Droid X, I don't know. But that was the only thing I changed and it started working for him.

I did try it out on the Android SDK Emulator, and I had the same problem, where it wouldn't work unless I checked the Full Screen box from within Flash. I don't know if that's common, or if that's a bug, either way, I've got it working now, and yes, I use the emulator for base testing.

I do know about specifying the min Android version, and I believe I set it to 2.2, although I may be mistaken.

Thanks again to the both of you.
