Fahrbot Mobile are happy to present the open beta of Balanced, an application that silently checks the status of your account using operator USSD commands. Keep track of account balance, free minutes, SMS and traffic through our minimalistic text widgets!
What does Balanced do?
Most operators around the world use short commands like *100# or *123# to deliver useful information or allow customers to control the services they are signed up for.
This costs you nothing, and the automatic update system can be set to run only when the screen is off.
The replies to these commands are parsed by the app into minimalistic text widgets that can show you things like your account balance, your credit limit, the number of free minutes, SMS and internet traffic remaining.
At the moment, Balanced also offers some basic statistics that many will find useful.
In the tradition of unique solutions, we are working on some very interesting additions to the functionality this app offers, including seamless USSD conversations (for complex operations that require users to send multiple replies to the operator) and automatic USSD command list retrieval from any operator in the world.
