Case for Kindle Fire HD

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to recommend a case I purchased about two weeks ago for my Kindle Fire HD 7". I purchased mine on Amazon for a little over $20 (though now it seems the price has gone up).

Marware MicroShell Folio Lightweight Standing Case for Kindle Fire HD 7", Black (only fits Kindle Fire HD 7")

So far it's done everything it is supposed to do. Also, it has all of the proper openings to allow for charging, etc. without having to remove the device from the case (I read on a different post that this was an issue with another case). Keep in mind that the stand only works horizontally (i.e. you can not "stand up" the device vertically).

Just my two cents.

I bought three cases for my 8.9 Fire and this is one of the ones I kept, but its the one I use daily.

I bought the Orange one just so I can find it when my kids leave it laying somewhere. The Orange/yellow color actually looks good with the colors Amazon chose for the on screen theme. Anyway, I love how this case snaps onto the fire just like my phone case. We haven't dropped it yet, as far as I know.
